Wellness PolicyThe Wellness Policy is reviewed tri-annually. A committee of students, parents, administrators, board member and staff conducted the review in September 2022 and Again in May 2023. The Wellness Policy Assessment Tool and Report Template is available for your review. Parents are welcome to submit input and feedback to the policy in writing to the school office.
Know the Health RequirementsImmunizations: All students must have required immunization records submitted within the first 5 days of school.Exclusion Policy: Students without current vaccines should be excluded until proof of immunization is received.

PA Department of Health Updates:ACT 117: Parental Diabetes Info - On October 29, 2024, Act 117 was signed into law in Pennsylvania. Act 117 requires schools to provide parents and guardians with informational material about Type 1 diabetes. Act 120: Act 120 of 2024, which amended the Public School Code of 1949- Health Services, took effect December 29, 2024, after being enacted into law on October 29, 2024. This amendment requires a school nurse, school physician or designated employee of a school entity to remove a tick from a student in accordance with guidelines issued by the Secretary of Health.
